I really love to Garden and getting things for free.  One of the best experiences I have had was through my local county extension program. They were able to teach me so many things. (Plus they give away a bunch of goodies at the end of each class.) I have learned how to use a rain barrel and got a free one. I was taught about sculpting a yard and how to draw the eye so that you have amazing curb appeal. We also have created worm composting bins and so much more. It was an amazing experience going to these classes and learning from the Master Gardner’s. But my favorite part was all the freebies I would get at the end of each class.  There was always seed packets and raffles to look forward to. There also was a  surprising number of local farmers, ranchers and other gardening enthusiast there to share information as well. That is how I found out about the free mulch pile that was right next to my house. That alone saved me hundreds of dollars and made my flower beds look amazing. For anyone that loves gardening, or even just improving their yard, this is definitely a resource you don’t want to ignore.
