The Clutter-Free Home Process

Module 1: We focus on creating a tangible vision of your dream home.  We go over a few of my favorite processes to create vision boards of how you want you home to feel. Along with how you want you home to look. This is key when sharing your vision with others to get them to help in the future.

Module 2: Digging your way out of the clutter in your own personal space.  This week we go over the three main areas that I like to focus on decluttering first. The bedroom, bathroom, and closet.  I believe that if you can get your space (and energy) right here first. Then the rest is easy to tackle.

Module 3: Digging your way out of the clutter in your shared spaces. This is where people get tied up. Shared spaces are the main living space, kitchen, garage, and outside areas. This is where week one comes into play. You will be able to show others how you want the home to look and have the vocabulary to describe it. Getting rid and reorganizing those spaces together are much smoother when everyone is on board.

Module 4: Setting up systems to never get cluttered again.  Once your home is decluttered, I’ll show you easy ways to maintain that “better homes and gardens” look without a full staff and endless time cleaning.  We also create systems for everyone living in the home to keep the house clutter-free. But without the stress of endless chores.

Module 5: Saying no to unwanted/outside gifts.  This week is designed to give you the tool to even brave Christmas or any other holiday. Even though people mean well.  It’s easy to get a bunch of thoughtful but unwanted gifts during the holidays. Learn how to say “no” in a loving way to maintain your clutter-free home.

Module 6: Bonuses.  Mini-lessons that you can use to keep living a clutter-free home and life.
* How to “shop” every room of your home.
* How to “see” what you actually have.
* Productive cleaning (only use chemicals that work).
* Clear surfaces method.

 I was just a woman that got married really young and wanted to keep a clean home. It didn’t feel like too much to ask. But what I ended up realizing was that keeping a clean home, when I was working and going to  college full time was more work then I realized.
